We had both already been attending Northern Arizona University for three years before our paths crossed working at Arizona Snowbowl. I decided to apply there my last year at NAU and Jake had already been working there for 3 winters. After a couple of months working together in guest services, hanging out at the bars and playing against each other in dart league, we started to become close. My roommate and I found out that Jake had the cutest puppy, Shiloh, we, of course, volunteered to watch him. Watching Shiloh gave me puppy fever! I thought it would be a good idea to get a puppy of my own since I had lots of free time during my last year of college. I had no boyfriend, not many classes, and work was coming to an end. So, I got Jax! That same day, Jake asked me out! After a couple of months of dating, we went to a Blink-182 concert, where Jake asked me to officially be his girlfriend!

Not long after, I graduated and moved back to California while Jake finished his last year at NAU. We did long distance for about nine months until I moved back to Flagstaff. We lived there for three more years before moving to Denver. We have been here for three years now and are excited to start our married life here!
